Med-I Vision
The Med-I project will design and develop a platform which will aim to facilitate the development and uptake of AI in medical imaging.
We will achieve this by addressing all regulatory, security and privacy challenges, providing a trustworthy space for medical images to be shared, annotated and used, and for clinicians to get access to state of the art AI solutions and provide feedback to developers.

AI research into medical imaging is impaired by a lack of access to quality labelled and annotated datasets to train models. Once models are developed there is a lack of a clear path to get these tools into the hands of clinicians and get real feedback.
Therefore, a centralized and secure resource platform, with access to high-quality medical image datasets for AI explorations in academic communities, is required.
The Med-I platform provides the tools and structures needed to get anonymised data annotated by professionals and into the hands of researchers. It then provides a fast path to deploy the models in clinical settings and get invaluable feedback.
